Medication Monday: Bicillin

Hello my friends ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ you know what time it issss… Happy ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜†! Today we are talking one of our most common antibiotics Penicillin.  In this case, we are discussing ๐๐ข๐œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง. Bicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that is ONLY given intramuscularly. This medication comes with a ๐—•๐—Ÿ๐—”๐—–๐—ž ๐—•๐—ข๐—ซ ๐—ช๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ก๐—œ๐—ก๐—š that IV administration can be associated with cardio respiratory arrest and death.
